This was a concrete slab installed for a shed to be built on site without our wood floor (the concrete will be the floor of the shed). You can see the perimeter treated sill plate that we will attach the shed to. If that wasn’t level we’d be in big trouble. The concrete mason here did great work.
Even when the ground looks to be level, a stone base will help to prevent the shed from settling.
The grade of the property drops down quite a bit. The 6×6 wood perimeter was installed and then back filled with 3/4″ crushed bluestone. Very well done.
